National Brotherhood of Cyclists "Major Taylor Scholarship"

The National Brotherhood of Cyclists owes its success to the active clubs who volunteer to assist in the association functions as well as other activities and projects that help us realize our mission and goals.

Providing a cycling scholarships is viewed as one way our association can give back to the community. By financially assisting cyclists pursuing an education, the association feels that young cyclists will continue in the sport after they have gone off to achieve their academic foundations and also invite others in the cycling community to join and become more actively involved with furthering the association's mission statement.

'The National Brotherhood of Cyclists Major Taylor Scholarship allows promising cyclists to pursue an education while they train and race. The Scholarship is designed to benefit young riders in need of financial assistance to defray the cost of a bike, gear and race fees.

A committee will award the scholarship based on a financial need of the applicant and his/her dedication to the sport and their ability to help us meet our mission..
